Black Hat USA Student Scholarship Program
To introduce the next generation of security professionals to the Black Hat community, we will award complimentary Black Hat USA 2022 Briefings Passes to a limited number of student applicants. Each pass allows access to all Briefings on Wednesday, August 10 - Thursday, August 11, 2022. If you are selected for the scholarship, you will have a choice between a virtual or in-person Briefings pass.
To be considered for the Black Hat USA Student Scholarship, each applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Must be at least 18 years old at the time of the event.
- Must provide copy of verifiable proof of full-time academic status at an accredited college or university.
- Must be able to provide copy of valid and current college or university ID card.
Please Note:
- Failure to follow instructions will result in disqualification. Students will need to provide Valid University ID and verifiable full-time academic status at this time.
- All submissions must be received by Friday, July 15. All applicants will be notified via email by Monday, July 25.
Black Hat Veterans Scholarship Program
Black Hat is proud to once again provide scholarships for US Military veterans interested in attending the Black Hat USA 2022 conference, August 10 & 11. Each scholarship includes a complimentary Full Briefings Pass (in-person or virtual). Travel and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of scholarship winners.
If you are a veteran or will soon be transitioning out of military service, you are invited to apply for one of these scholarships. Winners will be chosen by members of the Black Hat Review board.
All applications must be received by Friday, July 8, 2022. All applicants will be notified via email by Monday, July 18.
EWF Women In Security Scholarship
As we strive to minimize the gender gap among InfoSec professionals, and introduce the next generation of female leaders to the Black Hat community, our hope is to give students the opportunity to learn, network, and collaborate with the industry's brightest minds.
For the past 8 years the EWF has partnered with Black Hat USA to award 50 complimentary Academic Passes to female university students who demonstrate a passion for Information Security as well as a proven history of related experience and coursework. Each pass allows access to all Briefings on Wednesday, August 10 - Thursday, August 11, 2022. If you are selected for the scholarship, you will have a choice between a virtual or in-person Briefings pass.
