Sandeep Chandana is Principal Data Scientist at McAfee/Skyhigh and heads the Cloud BU Data Science and Threat Research team. The team is responsible for all machine learning that powers McAfee Skyhigh Security Cloud with particular emphasis on user entity behavior analytics, geo/access analytics, compromised account detection, insider threat detection and Privileged Access misuse. In addition to building out the CASB product functionality, Sandeep also leads cloud threat research to find new and evolving threats by leveraging deep machine learning and cloud security expertise to find new campaigns. Some of the recent research has helped uncover the recent Office365 persistent login attacks, network based attacks, cloud focused botnets etc.
