Kyle O'Meara (@cool_breeze26) is a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) CERT Coordination Center (CERT/CC) and an Adjunct Faculty and Faculty Advisor at Carnegie Mellon University. He has been in information technology for 12+ years, most, if not all, with a cyber security focus. Past jobs includes roles at FireEye and National Security Agency. Kyle has spoken at national and international cyber security conferences to include DEF CON, Senate Cyber Threat Intelligence Summit, FIRST Technical Colloquium, BSidesPGH, Three Rivers Information Security Symposium, and ShmooCon. Kyle also helps to organize SteelCity Infosec Meetup events as well as helps to put together the BSidesPGH CTF. Much of his current work focuses on research and analysis of embedded systems and exploits.
