Rik is a principal analyst in Omdia's IT security and technology team, specializing in cybersecurity technology trends, IT security, compliance, and call recording. Rik provides analysis and insights on market evolution and helps end users determine what type of technology and which vendor they should pursue.

Rik has also worked in Omdia's financial services technology team, with a specialization in capital markets technology. Prior to joining Informa (now Omdia), he worked as an IT journalist, specializing in networking and security. He was also a foreign correspondent in Brazil, where he worked, among others, for the Financial Times and The Economist.

He has spoken on DevSecOps at numerous events including the Gartner Security and Risk Summit, RSA Conference, BSides SF, DevOpsDays NYC, ApacheCon Europe, and BrisTech, as well as on webcasts for DevOps.com, Black Hat, SC Magazine, Dark Reading, and the SANS Institute. Johnny Wong

Johnny Wong is the Sr. Director of Pre-sales Veracode. He oversees the Solutions Architecture teams for Public Sector, Enterprise, and Channel as well as the SA Operations team. Johnny has been in security his entire career. The first part of his career, he was focused on identity and access management. Johnny started his career as a software developer and after nearly five years of creating insecure code, he was offered an opportunity to not be a software developer and to join the world of pre-sales. He has been with Veracode for over eight years.

Johnny received a BS in Computer Engineering from Tufts University. He and his family reside in Boston and he has no plans to ever leave because of the Boston Celtics! He loves to travel specifically to find and eat at the best restaurants across the world. At this point, the only animal he hasn’t eaten are the endangered or extinct ones.
