Defeating the Dangers of a Data Breach: Top Strategies to Get Your Organization Ahead of a Data Security Incident

Thursday, September 5, 2024

2:00 - 3:00 PM EST

60 minutes, including Q&A

In 2023, Omdia recorded over 1,300 data breaches (from Omdia Data Breaches Tracker.) Malicious, accidental or unauthorized exposure of data comprises 75% of those breaches. It is clear that data is the fastest growing attack surface and must be top of mind for many organizations. But in the face of a data breach - how do you respond and how do you report on materiality as set by the SEC Cybersecurity Incident Disclosure rules?

Thankfully Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) has stepped in to bridge the gap between current and required levels of data security. Modern DSPM platforms work to discover, classify, and secure data across multiple cloud environments in your organization. These are all critical components when setting into motion your incident response strategy. With the coupling of a resilient Incident Response Service and DSPM your organization can leverage a comprehensive toolkit for your company’s data to be compliant and housed safely with less exposure to risk.
