Now that the Black Hat team has celebrated the successful close of Black Hat USA 2025, and those who traveled to the event have returned back home, our team wanted to share a recap from the event. This year, the event welcomed 20,000 verified attendees from August 2 to August 7 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Security professionals from around the world registered to attend and experience firsthand the latest in cybersecurity research, developments, and trends.
New for this year, the event featured the inaugural Financial Services Summit, demonstrating our commitment to protecting critical infrastructure that powers the global economy.
The event also featured more than 100 Briefings covering the latest in critical information infrastructure to widely used enterprise computer systems (and everything in between), along with four days of deeply technical hands-on Trainings to equip individuals and organizations with the most essential and cutting-edge cybersecurity training courses. In addition, the programming included over 120 Sponsored Sessions where industry innovators showcased their products and solutions, while researchers at Black Hat Arsenal demonstrated over 115 of their latest in-person, open-source tools and products for all skill levels.
As cyber threats accelerate in sophistication and scale, this year's strong attendance underscores the importance of the community coming together to strengthen our collective defense against an ever-evolving threat landscape.
