Black Hat and The AI Summit Series
Members of the cybersecurity community, as well as individuals with an interest in technology, are likely aware that artificial intelligence (AI) isn't exactly new. However, as technology continues to rapidly evolve, so does AI. So while AI itself isn't new, there continue to be new advancements and changes within and around AI and cybersecurity that are important to recognize.
AI is a primary theme, or at least one of the central topics, of major conferences in technology and cybersecurity across the globe and there are no signs of the AI frenzy slowing down. A quick Google search on AI will result in a significant number of results on AI's impact and its presence in today's world. From AI's origins and background, its usage across social media platforms, the organizations rolling out new AI products and tools, legal ramifications, investment opportunities, and so much more–AI is everywhere these days. In the world of cybersecurity, adversaries are quickly adopting AI to develop faster and more sophisticated attacks. Meanwhile, cybersecurity vendors are also building AI into products to meet these new threats head-on.
Keeping pace with AI:
As the field continues to advance, organizations, and governments must also keep pace with the changes, while also ensuring they don't fall behind against their competitors and others in their market. Conferences and events offer organizations a unique way for their employees to equip themselves with the latest knowledge and developments in the industry while also meeting fellow members of the community to share and discuss these topics. For many in the cybersecurity community, Black Hat and SecTor events are the de-facto choice for business-critical information gathering and industry networking.
One way we've strengthened AI's presence within our events is through partnering with The AI Summit series, a global conference and expo series focusing on practical applications of AI technologies. The inaugural AI Summit at Black Hat events took place during Black Hat USA 2024, was well received by the community, and even sold out ahead of the event. To continue to meet the need for discussions around AI in cyber, Black Hat will continue to feature The AI Summit as a core component of its remaining 2024 events, including SecTor 2024 and Black Hat Europe 2024.

What to expect during The AI Summit at Black Hat events:
The AI Summit at Black Hat events underscores the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) as an organization's newest and greatest weapon within the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape. As threats continue to mutate faster and defenses struggle to keep pace, it remains crucial that organizations understand how to best implement AI within their respective organizational frameworks.
Attendees will hear from industry leaders through Keynotes, panel discussions, and breakout sessions on the growing use of AI in cyber attacks, the use of AI in cybersecurity products and solutions, and best practice for securing AI applications and models within the enterprise. Discussions will further explore innovative strategies and cutting-edge technologies, as well as include hands-on practical sessions designed to equip attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the potential risks, challenges, and opportunities associated with AI and cybersecurity.
