Nathan is passionate about risks at the intersection of technology and humanity and shares his thoughts on his blog, Perilous.tech. During his nearly 25 years in cybersecurity, he has been a regular public speaker, presenting his research at global security events, including Black Hat, DEF CON, HOPE, ShmooCon, SecTor, ToorCon, and many others. Issy Hall is a cyber policy expert with a track record working for the UK Government and, previously, the New Zealand Government. Her work focuses on strengthening the cyber security of emerging and evolving technologies, with a particular emphasis on AI. In her current role, Issy leads the UK Government’s engagement across a range of international standards bodies, championing the use of standards to enhance the security and resilience of next-generation technologies. She is at the forefront of efforts to embed cyber security into the development and deployment of AI systems. As part of this work, Issy is leading the creation of a European Standard on the cyber security of AI, helping to shape a more secure digital future.
