Fil Filiposki has spent the past 6 years leading a team of 30+ penetration testers, delivering hundreds of security testing projects and providing millions of dollars of threat and vulnerability consulting to top-tier Australian and international companies. Fil works across a broad range of industries including Banking & Financial, Telecommunications, Insurance, Retail, Energy, Online Services & Digital Start-up, Education, Logistics, Government and Not-for-profits. An alumni of BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, Fil co-founded Cyber Security Hub in 2014 and more recently AttackForge.com – a free-to-use online penetration and security testing platform designed to make testing easier, faster, safer and more affordable for small-to-medium businesses and freelance penetration testers. Fil is also the lead developer and architect of AttackForge.com as well as the Cyber Security Hub Platform-as-a-Service which is used by large enterprises globally as their primary tool for managing own security testing programs. Fil specialises in web application & web services API security, and is adept in mobile, network infrastructure, social engineering, static code review and reverse engineering. Fil holds two tertiary degrees from the Australian National University (ANU) - a Bachelor of Information Technology and a Bachelor of Commerce. He also has certifications in a number of project management disciplines including PRINCE2, MSP, ITIL V3; and training in AGILE and SCRUM. Fil is passionate about preparing students and newcomers looking to move into penetration testing as a career and helping them make their transition to the workforce. Fil participates on academic industry partner panels and is a direct mentor to junior penetration testers in Melbourne and around Australia.
