In the last 15 years Mantin has researched and innovated in various cyber-security domains, including web application security, advanced persistent threats, data security, DRM systems, cyber-attacks on automotive systems, and more. Mantin is the inventor of 15 patents in these fields. Mantin specializes in the mathematical aspects of security - cryptography and cryptanalysis, statistical modeling of traffic patterns, anomaly detection mechanisms, fingerprinting/watermarking, and more. Mantin has shared his knowledge gained in the field as a presenter at Blackhat, Eurocrypt, Asiacrypt, Fast Software Encryption and OWASP Israel. Mantin holds an M. Sc. in Applied Math and Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute.
