Rocky Cole is the co-founder and COO of iVerify. He previously served as Senior Program Manager at Jigsaw, a unit of Google, where he incubated early stage technologies to promote an open, free, and safe internet. His work ranged from helping journalists detect generative AI to designing innovative user experiences, informed by cognitive science, to harden Google surfaces against misinformation. He is an established expert in the Trust and Safety field, having published numerous academic papers advancing the study of online abuse. Prior to Jigsaw, he served as the finance lead for Google's ad tech platform, DoubleClick, and before that as a strategy consultant at Deloitte, working with both federal and commercial clients. Rocky started his career at the National Security Agency in Fort Meade, Maryland, conducting Computer Network Operations and intelligence analysis. He attended The University of Georgia -- and remains a proud Georgia Bulldog! -- and Georgetown's Walsh School of Foreign Service.
