Piotr Ciepiela is a cybersecurity and emerging technology expert. He focuses on areas such as OT/IoT, cloud computing, quantum computing, and AI. He is also a professional specializing in critical infrastructure protection for the European Union and national governments. Piotr is a co-author of several international standards for security and emerging technologies.
With 20 years of experience managing international technology projects across the US, Europe, Asia, South America, and the Middle East, his current role is the EY EMEIA Cybersecurity Leader and Global Leader in Security Architecture and Emerging Technologies. He is a co-founder of the Operational Technology (OT) and IoT teams at EY.
Author of a book on critical infrastructure and numerous articles in international magazines, including the Harvard Business Review and Forbes. He participates in the creation of international standards and supports governments in critical infrastructure protection.
Member of the World Economic Forum in the area of resilience. He has been a keynote speaker at global cybersecurity events and is a university lecturer on protection of industrial control systems and management among others at University of Dallas.
