Manoj Apte was part of the founding team of Zscaler and responsible for defining Products and Strategy. Over the 13+ years at Zscaler, Manoj was also responsible for Analyst Relations, Sales Enablement, Product Marketing, Sales Engineering and Architecture and Compliance/CISO functions. In the early years Manoj also ran engineering/ops and marketing. Zscaler is on a multi-decade journey providing a unified platform that enables enterprises to leverage cloud, mobility and AI securely and seamlessly. Zscaler has been a leader in the SWG Gartner MQ over 9 years and in the final year 2020, it was the _only_ leader. Zscaler is also recognized as the most mature SASE platform. Prior to Zscaler, Manoj was a product manager at Juniper where he launched their 10Gbps IPS and also led engineering teams involved in platform drivers, monitoring, lawful interception and firewalls. Manoj has contributed to Cloud Security Alliance since its initial Charter. He has a Ph.D. in Computational Engineering (Machine Learning) from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Technology from IIT Bombay.
