As the Chief Information Security Officer at Dispel, Dean is responsible for ensuring the security, compliance, and resilience of their cloud infrastructure and data assets. Dean is passionate about solving difficult problems with new ideas, technology, and teamwork. He enjoys collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, from developers and engineers to customers and regulators, to deliver secure, reliable, and innovative solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Outside of Dispel, he is committed to advancing the field of cybersecurity through teaching, research, and publications. Dean also spends time as a lecturer at the US Coast Guard Academy, a science and technology officer at the US Navy Reserve, and has co-authored a paper on modular quadratic equations and cryptography.
