Amy is the CEO and Co-Founder of Cygence, a boutique cyber security consultancy. She has more than 18+ years of management/cyber consulting experience leading cyber, business transformation and consulting teams across Australia, New Zealand and Internationally. Amy has a broad security skill set with expertise across threat intelligence and emulation, vulnerability assessments, cyber security strategy, risk, and governance. Amy is an authentic and highly motivated individual, with a great passion to drive impact across the cyber security industry. Amy's experience spans a breadth of industry sectors including financial services, energy and utilities, academia, automotive engineering, state and federal government and defence and national security. Amy applies her extensive consulting expertise with her Business and Information Technology education to national security challenges within Australia. She has worked with the Australian Defence Force to deliver information operations wargames, cyber strategy development and capability uplift. Amy has worked on large-scale enterprise transformation programs, incorporating information systems to optimize national security business processes and enhance capability outcomes. Most recently, Amy led and managed the first ever multi-national Australian Blue Team in the main exercise for NATO Locked Shields 2024. Amy was also pivotal to the successful delivery of the inaugural BSides Adelaide event in 2024.
