Aaron Severance

Aaron Severance is a managing director for the US Security and Resiliency Technology Advisory Services Team. He brings broad experience from designing and managing enterprise technology solution with focused consideration on security and resiliency. He has implemented some of the earliest iterations of data security organizations and IAM processes along with running workloads on some the earliest high-availability infrastructure cloud environments with 99.999% uptime obligations. He is now focused on data center optimization for the hybrid world, cross platform security capabilities, and cyber resiliency solutions.
Aaron came to Kyndryl via the IBM spinoff having joined IBM in 2018 following 22 years of experience across delivery and solution design roles with EDS / HPE / DXC. Under Kyndryl he has focused on capability development and client co-creation of cyber resilient solutions aligned to the Zero Trust and NIST Cyber Security Frameworks. He works with all market segments and regions across the US to leverage years of experience delivering solutions for CPG/Retail, Travel & Transportation, Energy & Utility, Manufacturing, and Financial Services clients.
In his spare time, Aaron and his wife are avid outdoors people while prioritizing time with their three grown children and two grand children. Aaron recently completed his Executive MBA at the University of Texas in Austin, his CCSK, and a registered candidate of ISC2. He is currently working to complete his CCSP.
