Syed Rafiul Hussain

Syed Rafiul Hussain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Pennsylvania State University. His research interests broadly lie in network and systems security. Prior to joining Penn State, he completed his Ph.D. at Purdue University in the fall of 2018 and has since been recognized with the NSF CAREER Award and the DARPA Young Faculty Award in 2022. His research impacts the design of 4G and 5G standards and is featured by the FCC and over 100 media outlets.
