Robert L. Fanelli is a Principal at Kopidion, a cyber security training and professional services firm. He has provided cybersecurity capability research and development, consulting, and educational services in government and the private sector. He served as a U.S. Army colonel, most recently at U.S. Cyber Command in roles that included controlling U.S. Department of Defense global cyberspace operations, leading the USCYBERCOM/NSA Combined Action Group, and conducting research and development activities. He has published, presented, and taught security topics in multiple venues, including the United States Military Academy at West Point and the National Cryptologic School. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii and a number of industry credentials, including the designation as a GIAC Security Expert.
