Michael Threet is an AI Research Engineer with a background in AI, Generative AI, and AI Infrastructure. He holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California San Diego. With a strong foundation in electrical engineering, Michael has a deep understanding of the underlying technologies that power AI systems. His educational background has equipped him with the knowledge and skills to design, develop, and optimize AI models, policy, and infrastructure. Recent work includes research at the intersection of Cyber and AI, MITRE's AI Platform for internal virtualized AI infrastructure, and AI Policy for NTIA's response to the Executive Order on AI.
