Mark Carney

Mark Carney is a mathematician and hacker working at the intersection of quantum technologies, AI, cybersecurity, music, and more. Currently, Carney is a Co-founder and CTO at Quantum Village, taking place for its third year at DEF CON 32. He holds a PhD in pure mathematics, and has produced ground-breaking work for some time, most recently working on open source tools for cryptography discovery using CodeQL source code analysis (released at BHEU 2023) and CryptoMon, a passive network monitoring.
