Jamie Gawith

Dr Jamie Gawith is an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Bath, UK, where he teaches power electronics, machine design, and advanced electronic materials. Prior to this, he was a Senior Integration Engineer at Tokamak Energy, developing nuclear fusion technology and a Visiting Researcher at Imperial College London, developing wireless charging systems. Dr Gawith obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, where his research focused on superconducting wireless power supplies. He has authored or co-authored over 30 publications across the fields of nuclear fusion, applied superconductivity and wireless power, is named on several patents, and has given invited talks at international conferences in these fields.
