Fangming Gu

Fangming Gu (@afang5472) is a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Information Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His focus is on Windows security research and complex software reverse engineering. He also devotes time to building automated bug finding tools. He discovered many Windows vulnerabilities in the past years and was ranked Top #14 on the MSRC Most Valuable Security Researcher list in 2020 and Top #21 in 2021. His work has been recognized by prestigious security conferences such as Usenix Security and Black Hat.
