Chao Zhang

Tsinghua University and Zhongguancun Laboratory

Chao Zhang is a tenured Associate Professor at the Institute for Network Science and Cyberspace of Tsinghua University. Chao's research covers a range of topics in software security, program analysis, AI security, and data security. Chao was awarded the following: 2016 DARPA Cyber Grand Challenge CFE (2nd in exploiting), 2015 DARPA Cyber Grand Challenge CQE (1st in defense), 2017 5th place in Defcon CTF, 2016 2nd place in Defcon CTF and 2015 5th place in Defcon CTF.
