Jordan Garzon is a Senior Security Researcher and a Data Scientist at Guardio. With a rich background in the industry, he previously served as a Data Scientist lead at Akamai Technologies, specializing in cutting-edge network defense techniques such as malicious Javascript detection and C&C communication analysis. Prior to this, Jordan worked several years at CheckPoint, where he led research into ransomware detection and malicious PE identification. He is passionate about extracting insights from massive datasets, looking at problems from different perspectives and has participated as a speaker at several cyber security conferences (BotConf, Black Hat USA…). Jordan holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from ESTP (Paris) and an MSc in Transportation Engineering from Ecole des Ponts ParisTech. He was also a staff member of Israel Tech Challenge (ITC), a Data Science and Cyber Security Training Program in Tel Aviv.
