Angel López is the founder of Sofistic Cybersecurity, where he served as CEO for 15 years and is currently the CIO of the holding company, Soluciones Cuatroochenta. He is a specialized cybersecurity consultant for the banking sector, having participated in banking security projects for over 20 banks in the Latin American region. With 16 years of experience and a degree in Computer Engineering, he co-founded and taught two postgraduate courses in cybersecurity at the universities of Castellón and Valencia. Throughout his career, he has actively collaborated with incident response centers and governmental intelligence entities in various countries. He has developed fraud protection systems, cybersecurity strategies based on AI and automation, and cyber defense mechanisms, and has investigated technological crimes alongside various authorities.
