Prashant Venkatesh is an information security expert with over 17 years of experience. He presently works as Staff Security and Threat Engineer at Kohl's Department Stores, and has held former security roles at InfoSys, Microsoft, building on his OSCP, CISSP, CEH, and CCSK certifications and B.E. in Electronics and Communications from Rajiv Gandhi University in India.
Prashant is an enthusiastic participant in the field who consistently coordinates, reviews papers, and presents his work at numerous InfoSec conferences, including at Nullcon and c0c0n. He is also active through the OWASP Foundation, where he is an honorary member, a respected leader of multiple chapters, and a co-founder of OWASP's annual Seasides Conference.
In recognition of these contributions, along with his consistent mentorship which encourages professional development in the community, Prashant was recognized for his excellence at Nullcon, where he received their Blackshield Community Star Award in 2018.
