Yaowen Zheng's research interests are related to system security. In particular, his research mainly focuses on binary analysis and vulnerability discovery technique for IoT firmware. He has individually discovered more than 10 zero-day vulnerabilities among well-known embedded devices and developed several vulnerability analysis tools based on Angr and DECAF, and has published several technical papers on DSN, ICICS, etc.
