Dr. Heng Yin is an Associate Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at UC Riverside. He is a renowned researcher in system security. In particular, his research has greatly advanced state-of-art techniques of malware analysis, memory forensics, and vulnerability scanning and discovery. He was a co-founder of BitBlaze binary analysis project at UC Berkeley. In 2011, he received the prestigious NSF Career award. He was a technical co-lead in Team CodeJitsu, one of the finalists in DARPA Cyber Grand Challenge held in August 2016.
