Hacking by Numbers Reloaded - Special Operations

SensePost | August 4-5

On This Page

HBN Reloaded: Special Operations is a brand new course for individuals or small units wanting to rapidly acquire a basic, usable capability in Open Source Intelligence Gathering, Social Engineering Attacks and Computer Network Attack & Exploitation. This is not a course for CIOs, auditors or pentesters. This is a course for red team members who want to introduce Direct Digital Action as part of a broader Red Team skill set.

The course is oriented around a very specific tool kit - Maltego Teeth. Built by Paterva to be the ultimate attack platform for use by teams of operators, Teeth combines human intelligence, pattern recognition and powerful automated attack tools with graphical information sharing software. The tool is free to use and pre-installed on Kali Linux, making it an ideal platform for red teams operating in the field. Maltego's built in secure collaboration and communications functions allow operators to collaborate and share intelligence both vertically and horizontally in real time.

Course SyllabusWith HBN Special Operations Edition we do not attempt to teach advanced skills, nor do we spend much time exploring underlying theory or advanced methods and techniques. Rather the purpose of this course is to prepare participants with basic usable capabilities and the tools required to apply Intelligence Gathering and Computer Network Attack techniques in a useful and practical way.

This course is targeted towards existing red teams or parties interested in the creation and deployment of red teams with digital direct action capabilities.

This is a brand new course which will be released for the first time at Black Hat USA. The complete detailed course syllabus will available on our website mid May this year. Be sure to check out the website or follow us on twitter. @sensepost.

All of SensePost’s Hacking By Numbers trainers are working as penetration testers. HBN course modules are often inspired by actual penetration tests we have performed in the past. We love teaching and have been doing so for Black Hat for over a decade now. Our courses are hands on, fun to do and also show real world scenarios that students will encounter.
