Black Hat Asia 2026 Announces Finalists for Startup Spotlight Competition
Winner advances to global competition in emerging Asia-Pacific cybersecurity innovation hub
The Asia-Pacific region has become a focal point for cybersecurity innovation, and Black Hat Asia 2026 has identified four new companies leading the way. Selected as finalists for the Startup Spotlight Competition, these emerging innovators are addressing some of cybersecurity's most pressing challenges, from defending against quantum-era threats and securing multi-cloud environments to transforming threat intelligence into actionable insights and exposing adversary infrastructure before attacks occur. With cybersecurity innovation accelerating globally and organizations facing increasingly sophisticated threats, these finalists represent the cutting edge of proactive, intelligence-driven security solutions.
On Friday, April 24, these four companies will present their products and solutions to a panel of expert judges at Black Hat Asia in Singapore. The winner will advance to the Global Startup Spotlight Competition at Black Hat USA 2026 in August, where they'll compete against finalists from Black Hat’s other regional events on a global stage.
With Asia-Pacific's cybersecurity sector expanding its influence, the stakes of this competition extend beyond simple regional recognition. The winning company will demonstrate not only technical innovation, but also the ability to address security challenges, all with global relevance. In a field where threat actors operate without borders, the solutions emerging from Asia-Pacific are increasingly shaping how organizations worldwide approach cyber defense.
Finalists include:
-
pQCee: pQCee is a quantum cybersecurity startup. We design and build post-quantum products and solutions to strengthen and protect the $trillion digital economy against quantum attacks.
Dr Teik Guan Tan, CEO and co-founder of pQCee, shared, "The quantum threat will become a significant cybersecurity risk within the next few years. pQCee’s mission is to help all organizations, large and small, prepare for and be ready for quantum. We are glad that Black Hat Asia has also recognized the urgency of post-quantum migration and have given us this opportunity to share our message with the world."
-
Prowler: Prowler is the world’s most widely used open-source cloud security platform that automates security and compliance across any cloud environment. With hundreds of ready-to-use security checks, remediation guidance, and compliance frameworks, Prowler is built to “Secure ANY cloud at AI Speed”. Prowler delivers AI-driven, customizable, and easy-to-use assessment, dashboards, reports, and integrations, making cloud security simple, scalable, and cost-effective for organizations of any size.
Toni de la Fuente, Founder & CEO, Prowler, shared, "We built Prowler to give every security team, from a solo engineer to a global enterprise, a powerful, open and transparent way to secure their cloud environments. Being selected as a Black Hat Asia Startup Spotlight finalist is a great recognition for our community and team, and we look forward to showcasing what Prowler can do on the world stage."
-
RST Cloud: RST Cloud provides Threat Intelligence solutions that help cybersecurity experts in their everyday life. We organise and analyse threat data to make it actionable and easy to use. Our intelligent platform performs aggregation, enrichment, and scoring to consolidate knowledge about all publicly available threat intelligence in one convenient service.
Yury Sergeev, Founder, RST Cloud, shared, "At RST Cloud, we build the structured intelligence layer that AI and automation can trust. We transform diverse threat data into clean, machine-readable Cyber Threat Intelligence, while our Noise Control product eliminates false positives across security operations. As a Black Hat Startup Spotlight finalist, we’re excited to make high-quality CTI more accessible, scalable, and effective for SecOps teams worldwide."
-
Silent Push: Silent Push provides a Preemptive Cyber Defense platform that gives real-time visibility into previously unknown adversary infrastructure. By continuously tracking the infrastructure attackers rely on to stage operations, Silent Push allows security teams to detect emerging threats earlier, investigate activity in context, and disrupt attacks before they escalate.
Maulik Limbachiya, Director of Global Solutions Engineering, shared, "Silent Push is changing how security teams think about preemptive cyber defense - from reacting to indicators of compromise to acting on indicators of future attack before infrastructure ever goes live. Being named a Black Hat Startup Spotlight finalist is a validation of that approach, and I'm looking forward to showing the community what preemptive cyber defense actually looks like in practice."
Finalists will exhibit their cutting-edge cybersecurity products and solutions on April 23 and April 24, and pitch their solutions to the judges on Friday, April 24 at 4:15 PM.
