Briefings
Since their inception, Black Hat Briefings continue to provide security professionals with a place to learn the very latest in information security risks, research and trends. Leading security researchers from around the world take the stage each year to share their latest work and exploits in a friendly, vendor-neutral environment. Attendees will experience groundbreaking research on topics ranging from vulnerabilities within popular consumer devices, to critical international infrastructure threats, and everything in between.
The Briefings are vendor-neutral, allowing the presenters to speak candidly about real problems and potential solutions across both the public and private sectors.

Briefings Schedule
Briefings will take place Wednesday, 9 December – Thursday, 10 December, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
The final program will be available by mid-September.
Continuing Professional Education (CPEs)
ISC2
Those who are certified through ISC2 can earn 14 CPEs for attending Briefings (with a Briefings, Briefings + Summit or Briefings + Training pass).
Black Hat does not maintain records of earned CPE credits. However, we will report your credits to ISC2 on your behalf within 30 days following the event. Simply provide your ISC2 member number when you register for the event.
If you forgot to provide your ISC2 member number when you registered, simply e-mail BHEuropeReg@informa.com.
Other Organizations
To self-report credits to other organizations, contact BHEuropeReg@informa.com after the event and request a Letter of Attendance (LOA) to use for self-reporting.

Briefings Slides & White Papers
Briefings presentation materials provided by Speakers will be posted on the Black Hat website by 08:00 Pacific Time the day following the live Briefing. Attendees can download available materials directly from the Black Hat USA site.
How to Access Briefings Presentations, White Papers, and Tools
- Navigate to Briefings > Schedule in the main event menu.
- Find the session you’re interested in.
- Select the blue session title to open the session page.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page (below the abstract/session summary). If materials have been provided, a link will appear under “Presentation Material.”
- Click the available link to access the files.
