Philip Pieterse is a Principal Consultant for SpiderLabs in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. SpiderLabs is the global advanced security services team within Trustwave responsible for: * Security Analysis and Testing * Incident Response and Investigation * Research & Development Philip has a total of 20 years working experience in IT Security, he also held various certifications and have working experience in the fields of Cisco, UNIX, Linux and Microsoft. The most recent certifications he obtained is GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN) from GIAC(SANS) and Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP) from Offensive Security. Philip is based in London (UK) for SpiderLabs and have been with SpiderLabs for 6 years. Previously to SpiderLabs Philip worked for CA Southern Africa, where he worked as a security architect in the CA security team. Outside of work Philip is involved with teaching penetration testing also runs the South African DefCon chapter DC2711.
