Alexandre D'Hondt started his studies in polytechnics in 2001. After 2 years, he decided to study at the army and qualified for the Royal Military Academy in polytechnics. After 5 and a half years, he graduated as a Civilian Engineer with specialty telecommunications. Alexandre started his career path in cybersecurity in March 2013 and also completed a 2-years master of Civilian Engineer (Network & Security) spread accross 3 years in his free time. He passed 6 GIAC certifications (GCIH, GCWN, GSNA, GCED, GCCC, GPEN) from 2013 to now in the scope of his job at the Defense. He now works as the team leader of Belgian Cyberdefense's Vulnerability Assessment team, essentially for assessing software, systems and networks, and for auditing them against various standards.
