Colin O'Flynn is with Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada where he researches issues around wireless security on protocols of importance to Smart Grid devices. His practical experience comes from working with companies that are deploying such devices, and he wants to make sure they will remain secure despite what future attacks may hold. He previously has spoken at both industry & academic conferences on the specific topic of IEEE 802.15.4 security.
