Kok Leong has 25 years of industry experience before going full-time academic in 2019. Prior to joining NUS-ISS, he held the position of deputy director in the public listed company overseeing both IT security and IT infrastructure. He has also worked in system integrator and government agency.
In NUS-ISS, Kok Leong’s teaching and research focus are on cybersecurity. The security subjects he teaches include cloud security, IoT security, security architecture and information systems security. He continues to align with the industry through projects, speaking engagement and new curriculum development.
