MANDIANT ROLE
Jerome Mak is a Senior Security Consultant in Mandiant’s Incident Response team, based in Singapore. As part of the Incident Response team responsible for the delivery of Mandiant services in the APJ region, Jerome focuses on incident response, digital forensics, threat analysis and program management services to help identify and contain security breaches.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
With over 10 years of experience in both private and public sector environments, Jerome has a solid background in digital forensics and malware analysis. He has a thorough understanding of malware, computer forensics, and tactics, techniques, and procedures that are leveraged by attackers.
Jerome previously worked for Ernst & Young Singapore, in the Fraud Investigations and Dispute Services (FIDS) practice where he specialises in Cyber Incident Response as part of the Forensic Technology and Discovery Services (FTDS) team.
Jerome started his career developing authentication and encryption software for the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore. After which he joined the cyber incident response team of Singapore Infocomm Technology Security Authority (SITSA), where he performed computer forensics and malware investigations.
Prior to joining the consulting profession, Jerome was a lecturer at the Nanyang Polytechnic teaching IT security modules, such as penetration testing and computer forensics for the Diploma in Cyber Security & Forensics.
