Barnaby Skeggs is a Senior Security Consultant in Mandiant’s Incident Response team, based in Perth, Western Australia. As part of the Incident Response team responsible for the delivery of Mandiant services in the APJ region, Barnaby focuses on incident response, digital forensics, threat analysis and program management services to help identify and contain security breaches.
Throughout his professional career, Barnaby has worked internationally in both internal security teams and security consulting teams. Barnaby has a solid understanding of IT fundamentals, forensic investigations, incident response, offensive security, security automation, and implementation of advanced security practices in both on premise and cloud environments.
Before joining Mandiant, Barnaby commenced his career in Big4 cyber security and forensic consulting where he provided incident response, computer forensic, cyber security assessment, and incident response preparation services for clients in the financial, government, energy, mining and resource sectors. After this role, Barnaby moved to Canada where he worked for 1.5 years at a large credit union building out their security operations, automation, cloud security and risk management capabilities.
