Overview

This offering is a highly-specialized course for security professionals interested in learning the skills, mindset and tools to become a professional social engineer. Students develop the ability to blend his/her mental skills of influence, persuasion and psychological tactics with technical skills such as mastering elicitation and pretexting.

The Advanced Practical Social Engineering course is a week-long immersion into the world of a professional social engineer.

Designed and written by Christopher Hadnagy, our Advanced Practical Social Engineering program is a five-day (4-day for BH) intensive training course that includes lectures, discussion, multiple hands-on exercises, demonstrations, and even nightly homework. It is a highly interactive class in which you will learn and practice the skills needed to be a professional social engineer.

After the course, you will be provided the opportunity to complete a 48-hour, hands-on exam with live practical tests to prove you have mastered the skills to earn your Social Engineering Pentest Professional (S.E.P.P.) certification. The certification does not require travel, but must be scheduled within 60 days of completing the class.

What Students Should Bring

You will need a laptop with the ability to get on the internet and use a browser. We recommend any windows, linux or mac laptop. It used for 1 day of the course, everything else you need will be given to you.
