Hacking by Numbers Reloaded - Infrastructure Bootcamp

SensePost | August 2-3

‘The closer you are to a target, the easier it is to hack’ - Learn how to take over a company first from the inside and then from outside.

Our refreshed Hacking by Numbers Reloaded course looks at the ways you, the student, can exploit and control common architecture and network deployments often seen in the enterprise, such as Microsoft Active Directory infrastructures.

This course looks at the methods and approaches one would take when performing internal and external network penetration tests. In our fully functional lab, your aim will be to think like an attacker and map out your target, find weaknesses and fully exploit trust relationships in place. Using scenarios along with presentations, this course is a healthy mix of thinking, strategies and the methodologies you might need for every step along the way.

If you are looking for practical, hands on approach to learning how to pwn a network, then this is where you will find it.

Who Should Take This Course

This course is ideal for those wanting to learn how attackers are gaining access to networks, penetration testers who are new to network penetration testing or those who wish to brush up on effective ways to own companies from the net and internally.

Student Requirements

Students need to ensure they have the necessary level of skill. No hacking experience is required for this course, but a solid technical grounding is an absolute must.

We offer a basic introduction course for those who have never performed a penetration test before and this covers basic networking and UNIX.

What Students Should Bring

Enthusiasm. This course is about learning how to hack and gain access to networks and servers. It’s a hands-on course and not just you sitting down and watching us present.

What Students Will Be Provided With

SensePost will provide fully configured laptop computers as well as USB key drives with all the tools and materials used in the course.

All of SensePost’s Hacking By Numbers trainers are working as penetration testers. HBN course modules are often inspired by actual penetration tests we have performed in the past. We love teaching and have been doing so for Black Hat for over a decade now. Our courses are hands on, fun to do and also show real world scenarios that students will encounter.
